Some of the works on this page are mine entirely, others have been created with others - on those occasions, I've usually been credited as Director of Photography (Millions: The Series, The Distance Between Us, In the Weeds, the Tim Toishi, Mark Brathwaite and J Reyez videos,

Been lucky enough to work with:

___ Woody Harrelson // acclaimed actor and theatre director
_ Éric Piccoli // digital emmy nominee director and overall awesome guy

When I was 17, I made a business card for myself that said 'Artist'. Now I struggle with how to describe what I do, but I try to retain that bold spirit I had as a kid!

This is what 2015 looked like just before its first sunrise. Poetry and images by CP. Shot in Toronto (North York), Canada on January 1st, 2015.

I'm the founder and creative director of ROXTON MEDIA and ONE HEART FILMS.

a little bit of poetry... because words also matter!

I've always been fascinated by ARCHITECTURE. here's a few images from my INSTAGRAM @cpinstagrams. give it a follow or a couple of likes if you enjoy!

music works. with music you get the chance to tell stories within a more flexible narrative framework. MTV changed the way things are done. then everything started not making sense. and now, again, there are thousands of incredible creators re-thinking what it means to make a music video!

LANGUAGES are fascinating. I'm lucky enough to know four them - FRENCH, PORTUGUESE, SPANISH, and ENGLISH. I also thoroughly enjoy Cantonese and have a personal goal of learning some Korean in the near future.

I LOVE SHOOTING FOOD BECAUSE IT'S SOMETHING THAT TRULY HAS THE POWER OF BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER. ACROSS CULTURES, SHARING A MEAL IS OFTEN AN OCCASION TO EXCHANGE VALUABLE INFORMATION AND AFFECTIONS.

I call bullshit on anybody that says commercials can only serve business. for an artist with intent, it's a form so incredibly rich, an exercise in distilling a proposition into an audio-visual composition. and bam. something inspired you. what do you do next? ALWAYS HAVE AN ACTION ITEM at the end of a video. guide your audience toward a next step. ALWAYS.

LIVE STUFF is the best because you get to respond to a performance... through camerawork, to take in light and take in sound and try and reflect the atmosphere. more shows, please!

FASHION IS A BIT LIKE MUSIC VIDEOS. IT'S A GENRE MOSTLY DEVOID OF CONVENTIONS. IT SPANS FROM EXPERIMENTAL, INCOMPREHENSIBLE MOODY FOOTAGE ALL THE WAY TO GLOSSY COMMERCIALS. I DON'T DO MUCH OF IT, BUT I HAVE SOME FRIENDS THAT ARE AMAZING AT IT!
