Travel Journal Five: Atlixco Wonderland

I go through the day barely taking any pictures, as my morning is occupied by some leftover editing that I need to complete by Christmas. We go to the supermarket in the afternoon and come back for a late lunch/early dinner. I make gigantic burgers with jalapeno peppers, onions, pork and beef ground meat.

Later, we hop in the car and head about forty minutes out of town to Atlixco. Still recovering from the earthquakes, the city puts a festive face on, transforming its core into a winter wonderland with the VIlla Illuminada. We spend about two hours walking through various stalls and pavilions. Vale goes on the carousel with Andréane, and I hold her as we feed birds.
